The Engineering Advancement Trust (EAT) was created in 1986 to maintain the currency of the College's undergraduate program - to upgrade and replace equipment in the undergraduate student labs and to assist with student initiatives. We are very grateful to alumni and friends who donated to EAT and supported the 2007 purchase of five Agilent MSO6104A digital oscilloscopes with 4 analog channels and 16 digital channels. We also received six Agilent 33220A function generators and 20 FPGA educational units for use in the Computer Engineering Program.

Also in 2007, from a combination of EAT and cornerstone donations and University funding, we purchased 6 Agilent DS03102A basic 2-channel digital oscilliscopes, and 2 Stanford Telecom FFT based Spectrum analyzers (to bring out total complement up to 6 units) and 12 Fluke Digital Multimeters. We also purchased 6 altera high-performance FPGA/DSP units for use in the Communications and Signal processing program. Labratory courses using these instruments are: EE 292, EE 391, EE 392 and CME 392.
